ZyXEL NWA-570N is an Access Point 4-in-1 Wireless 802.11n Draft 2.0, which can operate in four different modes: AP, client, repeater and bridge point to point. Unlike existing wireless technologies, draft 802.11n uses the reflections to increase the coverage range and reduce "dead spots". NWA-570N provides a bandwidth equal to 300Mbps and four times more coverage than 802.11g connection. E 'was created for users who require high speed data transfer, in order to get a better Internet experience with a faster wireless connection for downloading, video streaming and online gaming.
ZyXEL NWA-570N is backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b. In addition to the basic 64/128/152-bit WEP encryption, the NWA570N features the latest wireless security mechanisms to protect your network with 802.1x authentication and Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK). These enhanced security functions allow only authorized users to access the network, thus further protecting your data from being tapped during wireless transmission.
NWA570N supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) to simplify network security setup. Users no longer have to define a network identifier (SSID) and pass phrase to enable WPA security; instead, NWA570N will automatically generate SSIDs and PIN codes. In place of entering a pass phrase, users can authenticate a new device on the network by pressing a button or by entering an automatically generated 4-digit or 8-digit PIN code. With the button option, users only need to press a button on the device and on the AP simultaneously in order to complete the authentication.
The detachable antenna allows you to replace the standard antenna with a reverse SMA connector antenna. It also has the flexibility to meet user demands if high-gain antenna replacements are required.
