The ReadyNAS NVX Pioneer Edition Network Hard Drive Enclosure from Netgear is a 4-bay network storage enclosure. It features a dual Gigabit Ethernet interface which is capable of 75MB/sec throughput. It features the X-RAID2 system, which allows you to add drives one-by-one without the need to reformat. When fully populated with drives, the enclosure can be configured as RAID 0, RAID 1, or RAID 5.

You'll be able to populate the array with 3.5" SATA hard disks, currently available in capacities up to 2TB. This allows you to configure the array with up to 8TB of storage. UPnP AV streaming allows you to stream media to an Xbox 360, PS3, or other compatible device. The enclosure supports Windows, Mac, Linux, and UNIX clients, allowing you to use it in a variety of environments.
